DESCRIPTION:
Remotely configure, monitor and control serial devices over the Internet with the Xpress DR+. This Industrial Device Server is a versatile and powerful tool for remote management of automation and assembly/packaging equipment at manufacturing sites, automated distribution centers, refinery plant or any industrial facility. If your equipment has a serial port you can access and control it from anywhere over the Internet.

Supporting two serial ports and two 10/100 Ethernet ports, the XPress-DR+ enables multiple industrial serial devices to be daisy-chained (cascaded) from a single network backbone connection. This design saves time and money by avoiding unnecessary cable runs and eliminates serial cable distance limitations. With flexible configuration options, the XPress DR+ can be set up locally using the serial port or remotely over Ethernet.

Perfect for the industrial Ethernet environment, the XPress DR+ is packaged in a rugged DIN-rail mount case and equipped with isolated serial and Ethernet ports and has screw terminal connectors for serial and power. It is FM-approved for hazardous locations Class 1, Div. 2.
