Description: Need to add 10/100 EtherNet/IP to your product? EtherNet/IP is the Ethernet version of DeviceNet. If you have serial port using Modbus RTU/ASCII, now it can become a EtherNet/IP port. The XPort is a simple device with software all packaged inside a single RJ45 connector. The XPort takes your serial modbus data stream and converts it to EtherNet/IP packets.
Software: The XPort-EIP-MB is preloaded with EtherNet/IP firmware and requires no changes by the customer. It maps all current serial Modbus commands and registers to Ethernet Modbus TCP commands and registers. A pre-packaged version of this device is available: GC-NET232-EIP-MB.
Technical Specifications: 10/100M Ethernet, Serial Baud rates up to 115KBaud, 3.3V operation, extended temperature range -40C to +85C.
